World Metal Market Sees Zinc Deficit

According to a recent report by the Lead and Zinc Study Group, there is also a further widening of the deficit for the global zinc market. Here’s what you need to know:
- From January to October there was a Zinc deficit of over 481,000 tons
- Zinc production grew 3.8% in the same time frame
- Demand for Zinc grew 1.2% in the first 10 months
- China is the leading importer of Zing in the global metals market
